Hi everyone.
This month we had the run out to Kariotahi Beach; Karen and I were a little late as I'd been called out to fix some emergency PC issues, but we still managed to catch up at Waiuku. Along with the usuals (Bud & Thelma, Ngaire, Trev & Kiri) it was good to see Philip Pearce and Brian McSwiggan.
Philip is competing in the Targa again this year in his Fiat 124 Sport, starting from Papakura on Sunday 23 October and finishing up in Hastings on 29 October. If you see him, say hello and wish him good luck.
Don't forget in November our 25th anniversary dinner at Dalma Court. Only $20 per head for a smorgasbord-type dinner sounds good value to me, but you do need to let us know and pay in advance so we can confirm numbers.
Also, next years Easter rally is currently being organised. We have booked motel accommodation in the Thames peninsula area, and you will need to get in quick with your $310 entry fee (to the club's P O Box, please) in order to confirm your attendance.
